Create and update your menu

Start with sections

Choose the right location and open Menu. Group items into sections such as Food, Snacks, and Drinks. Give each section a short, recognizable name so it is easy to use in a design.

Add and check items

1. Add an item to the appropriate section.
2. Enter the display name, price, and any description or image you want to show.
3. Check availability and save the item.
4. Preview a design that uses that section. Confirm the item fits without crowding the board.

Understand what updates live

Price and availability changes are sent to connected players as live updates. For structural changes such as new items, sections, images, or layout changes, publish the affected screens so they receive a fresh board.

Use Stand when you only need to mark an item sold out or available during service. Offline screens keep their saved state until they reconnect; check the TV before assuming a change has arrived.

If you connect Square

The Square connection is in Menu and requires platform setup before it can be used. Once connected, Square controls imported prices and availability; a later sync may overwrite a local change to those fields. ConcessionKit keeps presentation edits such as display names and descriptions after the first import.

Use Sync now when you need to refresh the connection, then review the results. Items removed in Square become unavailable rather than being deleted from your ConcessionKit menu.
